About Us
Smart Drop independently certifies water efficient products and services in Australia and North America. The label helps consumers to shop wisely and provides a market advantage for businesses.
Smart Drop - Australia
Smart Drop Certified (formerly Smart Approved WaterMark) is the water efficiency certification program, set up in 2004, during the height of the Millennium Drought. As identified in the National Water Initiative, the main objective was to address the challenge of reducing residential water use through the identification and certification of water efficient technologies and services.
For householders, the scheme is designed to provide confidence that products and services bearing the label will help you save water around the home and garden.
Businesses that gain certification for their products/services, gain market advantage by adding the label to their websites and packaging.
For the water industry, the scheme provides a national mechanism to identify water saving products and services. This is proven to be an effective tool to simplify any water efficiency rebate programs or implementation schemes.
